Shimpei obtained his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law, and subsequently provided legal assistance on a contractual basis to top law firms in New York City for antitrust litigations involving Japanese corporations. He further honed his legal skills at the largest hospitality law firm in New York City before establishing his own practice. Shimpei's experience and knowledge in the areas of business law have made him a trusted advisor to many business clients in the hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and bars.
As a fluent speaker of Japanese and English, Shimpei is uniquely positioned to represent clients with international legal needs, having successfully represented numerous Japanese clients seeking to do business in the United States. He has received multiple recognitions for his exceptional legal skills and contributions to the legal community.

Rie joined Kawasaki Law Office PLLC in 2022 as Legal Assistant. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Literature and an Associate's degree in Multimedia Programming and Design in New York City.
With this unique combination of educational backgrounds, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail, Rie has been acclaimed as a multitasking administrative assistant　during her working experiences for more than 20 years in Tokyo and New York City.
She is committed to helping Shimpei bring out the best in him as well as providing top-notch support to her clients.
Trevor joins Kawasaki Law Office PLLC for the summer of 2024 as an intern. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Boise State University, where he studied Political Science and Japanese and was a member of the National Collegiate Foreign Language Honor Society. Before his undergraduate education, he worked as a volunteer and ESL teacher in the Fukushima, Miyagi, and Yamagata prefectures of Japan’s Tohoku region. He attends CUNY School of Law and is expected to graduate with his Juris Doctor in 2026.
